Toward the end of each season, Encounter has a tradition of taking week long service and performance tour outside the Riverbend area.  While on tour, we establish community service projects with organizations in the area we will be staying.  In the past we have worked with the Rocky Mountain National Park service, various homeless shelters, Boys and Girls Clubs, churches, hurricane relief in Florida, etc.  We also sing for different congregations and retirement homes.  We also schedule performance services with churches where we share the Good News of Jesus Christ through our musical.  The group visit to St. Simons Island, GA, in the summer of 2020 was cancelled due to COVID and no tour is planned for 2022.
