ABOUT US

Check back for updates or follow on Facebook

In a normal year, Encounter performs on Sunday evenings at various churches throughout the Riverbend area beginning on Easter Sunday through the second Sunday in August.  Due to COVID-19 our 2021 schedule has not been set.  If you would like to check our availability to perform at your church in the future, please contact our Spiritual Director, Pastor Kyle Steward, 462-2495.

If you are a current Encounter Student or interested in becoming a member of Encounter, you can visit here to find out the most current information for this season.

In a normal year, from Easter Sunday through the 2nd weekend in August (excluding holiday Sundays), we will perform at various churches in the Riverbend area.  We hope you will join us! All concerts are currently on hold.

Encounter relies heavily on donations from businesses and individuals.  We take between 80-90 people on our yearly service and performance tour which gets quite costly.  While the students fundraise and pay for a portion, it's not usually enough to cover all the expenses.

Individuals who donate will have their name listed in our season's program and receive a postcard from the group while on tour.

Businesses who would like to donate a minimum of $75 will have a business card advertisement for their business printed in our season's program.

PATRONS

Each year we take an 8-day service and performance tour.  While tour is not mandatory, it has been extremely life changing for most of the students who go.  In 2020, our tour was cancelled due to COVID-19.

2021 will be our 49th season.  To find out more about our history and who we are, click the read more button below.
